Can you feel how the drumbeat of your pulse wants to move you?

Are you courageous enough to explore the territory your arteries + veins have mapped, just for you?
Have you remembered that all blood flows from the same mother river, fractalling and branching so each of us can know her nourishment?
Can you ride the current of your desire to plug back into the electro-erotic flow state?
This is what it means to be BLOODWISE:
To become a sanctuary for the desire our wild hearts beat into the world.
To accept our role as carriers, not controllers, of these electropercussive creatures.
To cradle + care for them as we discover the rhythm—our unique bloodsong—that inspires our hearts to sing.
To allow the beating creatures in our chests to mingle their rhythms and songs until they create a perfect pitch, that original ‘AUM’ that breathes all new life alive.
The wisdom of the blood tells us:
We are the stewards of the migratory fauna that are our hearts, those creatures that call to their kin through our blood + desire.
Their gathering time has come.
The next great migration is a congregation of hearts, gathering at the quantum oasis of love.
No other territory is expansive enough to hold us all together.

Series: Small Blessings
Inspiration: Electromagnetism. Migration patterns of desire. Heart wisdom. What makes our blood sing. Red clay, mica-flecked soil. Catawba River. Returning water to parched places.
Materials: Mica-flecked stone from Western North Carolina, carnelian, vitreous glass, ceramic, and mirrored tesserae, stained glass, pearls, beads.
