In ecological terms: the canopy keeps reaching for more light, but the roots haven’t been given what they need to hold it.

What This Work Is

Humanful Leadership is my 1:1 advisory for leaders, founders, and executives who want to lead with integrity without burning through more of themselves than they can afford.

This isn’t performance coaching. It’s leadership architecture—the kind that determines whether what you’re building can actually stand.

We work where leadership actually lives:

  • How power is flowing through your role

  • How you and your team respond to authority, both internal and external

  • How your nervous system is adapting to chronic pressure

  • How relationships and collaboration are responding to the systems around you

  • The invisible business belief systems that operate in the background

When those layers are ignored, “doing better” usually just means overextending more elegantly.

When they’re tended, leadership becomes steadier, cleaner, and more sustainable—something that can grow without eroding the soil it depends on.

This is humanful leadership.

How I Work

My work is informed by an ecological, relational way of seeing:

People and organizations are living systems, not machines.

That’s where my creativity comes in—not as decoration, but as a way of seeing and sensing. I’m a pattern-seer and systems thinker. I help leaders notice where their structure is leaking energy, where responsibility is pooling in the wrong places, and where the design no longer matches the life it’s meant to hold.

Together, we focus on:

  • Stabilizing leadership capacity under real conditions

  • Cleaning up power and responsibility dynamics

  • Rebuilding how decisions, boundaries, and scope are held

  • Reducing chronic urgency and reactivity

  • Designing leadership structures that are effective and humane

  • Restoring reciprocity and authentic connection

The deeper body of work behind this is something I call The Symbiotic Way—but here, the focus is simple and practical: helping you lead in ways that are coherent, resilient, and human.

After nearly two decades at Harvard Business School and Harvard Kennedy School working in communications, strategy, and leadership, I now coach and advise leaders across sectors to rebuild capacity, clean up power dynamics, and design leadership structures that can actually hold the lives they’re asking people to live.
