My Process:
Archetypes: Pure, radiant love. Hestia, the hearth goddess.
Inspiration: Ascendance, a return to love.
Materials: Gold and feathers. Her simple gold wedding band and love of Emily Dickinson's poem "Hope is the thing with feathers" inspired the artwork for this album. Her personal legend was authored and hand-written by me on hand-pressed, deckle edged paper. I gilded feathers as well as the edges of the album pages--it needed no other weight or adornment to reflect the purity of love. Love.
