MARE NECTARIS

The secret of the sea is that she is spirit made tangible.

Those sensual souls who know this seek her out as their lover, an oceanic partner to match the beat of their own hearts.

This sacred marriage of spirit and soul is reflected and refracted in her infinite pattern of contraction and expansion: the indrawn breath and the exhale, the ebb and the flow, the receiving and the giving of pleasure.

The sea makes the most generous lover. She draws herself inward into her watery heart, gathering, distilling, and potentiating energy, crests—then spills her gifts onto our willing shores, a salted nectar benediction for those willing to take on the task of loving life.

If you’re very fortunate, you may stumble upon the most intimate gift of the sea: an incarnate portal that opens to reveal a treasure nestled in a voluptuous marriage bed. The gift of friction and chthonic ichor, this portal leads us to the riches we may find if we dare to navigate our most fathomless depths.
